Laramide Resources Ltd. has acquired an option on a vast 6,000 km² greenfield uranium exploration project in Kazakhstan’s Chu-Sarysu Basin, close to major uranium mines. The company will operate and fund the exploration with the aim of discovering a viable uranium resource, capitalizing on the current industry dynamics favoring nuclear power’s growth and the consequent need for new uranium deposits.
