Lancashire Holdings reported a 9% rise in gross premiums to $1.7 billion and a 16.8% increase in insurance revenue for the first nine months of 2024. Despite expecting net losses from recent weather events to be between $110 million and $140 million, the company is declaring a special dividend of 75 cents per share, totaling $180 million, due to strong operating performance. The group’s investment portfolio also delivered a 5% return, contributing to its robust financial outlook.
