Labrador Gold Corp ( (TSE:LAB) ) just unveiled an update.

Labrador Gold Corp. welcomed the Ontario government’s decision to accelerate completion of an all-season road to the Ring of Fire by five years, with early works set to begin in June 2026 and the route crossing its Watson property in the Fort Hope Greenstone Belt. The company says this new infrastructure should significantly reduce exploration and development costs at Watson, where it holds extensive, royalty-free ground through its 80%-owned Elementary Minerals joint venture, and plans an airborne electromagnetic survey this year followed by soil work, prospecting and an initial drill program as early as winter 2027, while advancing outreach to local First Nations to secure social licence.
