Kurita Water Industries Ltd. reported a 3.8% increase in net sales and a slight 0.1% increase in profit attributable to owners at 5,701 million yen for Q1 ending June 30, 2024. The company’s business profit rose by 12.1%, with a moderate global economic recovery noted despite geopolitical uncertainties. The Electronics Industry segment saw a slight increase in sales, while the General Industry segment experienced a 6.4% sales increase and an 18.2% rise in business profit.
