Kurita Water Industries ( (JP:6370) ) has provided an update.

Kurita Water Industries has revised its financial disclosure framework for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2026, after signing a share transfer agreement on May 13, 2026 to divest its overseas Precision Tool Cleaning business operated under Pentagon Technologies Group. As a result, the company will now classify this precision cleaning activity as a discontinued operation and report consolidated profit and loss figures, up to profit before tax, on a continuing operations basis across its Electronic Industry and General Industry segments.

The change means the Electronic Industry segment figures will exclude the overseas Precision Tool Cleaning business, giving investors a clearer view of the profitability and performance of Kurita’s core continuing operations. By separating discontinued operations from its main segments, the company aims to enhance transparency and comparability in its financial reporting, which may help stakeholders better assess the underlying trends in its water treatment and related industrial service businesses.

The most recent analyst rating on (JP:6370) stock is a Buy with a Yen7100.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Kurita Water Industries stock, see the JP:6370 Stock Forecast page.
