Royal KPN NV has issued a €500 million Green Hybrid Bond to fund projects that align with its sustainability goals, including energy efficiency, circular economy, and clean transportation. The bond, which will be accounted for as 50% equity and 50% debt, aims to support KPN’s ‘Net Zero’ ambition by 2040. It attracted strong interest from institutional investors, with orders surpassing €1.9 billion and is set to be rated BB+ by S&P and Fitch.
