Kongsberg Secures Billions in Air Defence Contract

Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (NSKFF) has released an update.

Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace has secured a contract worth up to NOK 4.8 billion from the Norwegian government for new NASAMS air defence systems, aiming to enhance Norway’s defensive capabilities against aerial threats. The deal includes multi-missile canister launchers and Fire Distribution Centers, with the possibility of a NOK 2.5 billion option for additional defence capacities. These steps reflect Norway’s commitment to upgrading its air defence in response to the evolving security landscape.
