Kokusai Electric Corporation has announced the completion of a share repurchase, acquiring 296,500 shares of its common stock for a total cost of 1.16 billion yen. The buyback occurred over two days, from July 30 to July 31, 2024, through market purchases on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. This move is part of a larger repurchase plan, announced on July 10, that authorized the buyback of up to 6 million shares, representing 2.55% of its outstanding shares, for a maximum expenditure of 18 billion yen.
