Kobo Resources Inc. ( (TSE:KRI) ) has issued an announcement.
Kobo Resources has extended the closing of its non-brokered private placement of up to 16.5 million common shares at $0.335, targeting gross proceeds of about $5.53 million and now expects to complete the financing in the week of April 13, 2026. The company plans to use the funds to advance drilling and exploration at its Kossou Gold Project, start drilling on the Kotobi Permit, and support general corporate and working capital needs.
The company has engaged an independent firm to deliver a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate for Kossou in the third quarter of 2026, underpinned by more than 41,000 metres of diamond drilling completed since 2023. Kobo is also mobilizing a second drill rig at Kossou to accelerate work, while advancing site preparations and a forthcoming drilling contract at Kotobi, marking a key phase in de-risking and advancing its Ivorian gold assets.
