The contract will utilize the MV Barcarena, a CABU vessel that has recently undergone a 25-year renewal docking. This agreement enhances KCC’s operational efficiency by allowing the vessel to carry dry cargoes on northbound voyages when opportunities arise, thus optimizing utilization and reducing ballast time.
