The latest update is out from Dunbar Metals Corp. ( (TSE:KSM) ).
Kirkstone Metals Corp. has expanded its uranium exploration footprint in northern Saskatchewan’s Athabasca region by staking the 1,326-hectare Douglas River Uranium Project in the Cluff Lake district, an area with a strong history of uranium production and recognized geological significance. Located near the decommissioned Cluff Lake mine and along subsurface conductive anomalies identified by historical geophysical surveys, the Douglas River property brings Kirkstone’s total holdings in the district to 8,230.9 hectares, now collectively termed the Carswell Complex Project. Management says the acquisition meaningfully strengthens the company’s land position in a proven uranium camp and is intended to reduce exploration risk by focusing near former producers, with further technical review and planning to determine next steps for advancing the broader project portfolio.
