Kingfisher Defines New Drill-Ready Porphyry Copper-Gold Target at HWY 37

Kingfisher Metals ( (TSE:KFR) ) has shared an update.

Kingfisher Metals has outlined a new near-surface porphyry copper-gold drill target, dubbed Turquoise, within its 933 km² HWY 37 Project in the Golden Triangle of British Columbia. Located about 6 km from highway and power infrastructure and roughly 3.4 km east of the Hank porphyry discovery hole, the target lies in the emerging Hank–Mary district and is considered drill ready.

The Turquoise target is defined by a 0.5 by 2.0 km induced polarization chargeability anomaly supported by magnetic vector amplitude and resistivity data that together suggest a sulphide-rich porphyry system. Surface mapping shows advanced argillic and sericite–chlorite-pyrite-quartz alteration consistent with porphyry-style systems, though much of the core target is obscured by landslide and glacial till, highlighting the potential for a concealed deposit and strengthening Kingfisher’s pipeline of high-quality exploration candidates at HWY 37.

Spark’s Take on KFR Stock

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, KFR is a Neutral.

The score is primarily constrained by weak financial performance (no revenue, ongoing losses, and persistent negative free cash flow), partially offset by a strong balance sheet with minimal leverage. Technicals are supportive due to a strong uptrend versus moving averages, but the very high RSI indicates overextended conditions. Valuation remains challenged because profitability is negative and there is no dividend yield provided.
