Kinetiko Energy Ltd. has achieved a groundbreaking milestone by becoming the first company in South Africa to produce power from onshore gas, using a gas well at Amersfoort to power a 1.2MW generator. This success paves the way for Kinetiko’s plans to develop a larger LNG production operation with approximately 30 additional wells, showcasing the potential of the company’s substantial gas resources to address South Africa’s energy needs.
