Kinetiko Energy Ltd. has initiated a strategic drilling program with the mobilization of a Prakla RB 40S rig to begin production testing on the first of five wells near existing infrastructure in South Africa. The testing, starting the week of September 23, 2024, aims to confirm the potential of the company’s 6 TCF Contingent gas resource and provide essential data to model future production economics. Initial results are anticipated in October 2024, with the potential to significantly increase Kinetiko’s gas reserves certification.
