Kenon Subsidiary Begins Major Wind Project

Kenon (KEN) has released an update.

Kenon Holdings Ltd. through its subsidiary OPC Energy Ltd., has initiated the construction of the Rogue’s Wind wind power plant in Pennsylvania, with an estimated capacity of 114 MW and a projected cost of around $365 million. The project, expected to be operational by the first half of 2026, has secured a financing agreement worth $274 million. Once in operation, the wind farm is expected to generate an annual EBITDA of about $18 million during its initial years.
