KEFI Gold and Copper reports significant progress with its Tulu Kapi Gold Project in Ethiopia, with final financing approvals expected in May 2024 and the project launch on track for mid-2024. The company’s efforts align with Ethiopia’s broader gold sector expansion, which aims to quintuple annual gold production to 1.5 million ounces within five years. KEFI targets an 80% beneficial interest in the project, which is poised to generate substantial annual revenue and net cash flow, starting production in mid-2026.
