KDDI Corporation has successfully completed the squeeze-out procedure for Lawson, Inc., resulting in KDDI and Mitsubishi Corporation each obtaining a 50% share of Lawson’s voting rights. The share consolidation was effective as of August 15, 2024, with the transfer of the remaining shares confirmed on August 19, 2024. This action triggers the terms and conditions of their February 2024 Shareholders Agreement for the joint operation of the Lawson Group.
