Bartel Puelinckx has been appointed as the new Chief Financial Officer of KBC Group, replacing Luc Popelier who will become CEO of Hamburg Commercial Bank. Puelinckx’s extensive experience within KBC Group, including roles in Belgium and abroad, positions him to contribute significantly to the Executive Committee and foster relationships with the investment community. The change in leadership will take effect on 1 September 2024, following regulatory approval.
