Kazatomprom Expands Uranium Exploration in Kazakhstan

National Atomic Company Kazatomprom JSC GDR RegS (GB:KAP) has released an update.

Kazatomprom, the world’s largest uranium producer, has secured a license for uranium exploration at Budenovskoye deposit’s Block 5 in Kazakhstan, with potential resources estimated at over 18,000 tonnes. CEO Meirzhan Yussupov expresses confidence in the project’s ability to bolster the company’s global leadership by tapping into the high-grade uranium ores and developed infrastructure. The exploration is part of Kazatomprom’s strategy to ensure sustainable growth and contribute to the uranium mining sector in Kazakhstan.
