Karnov Group AB ( (SE:KAR) ) has issued an announcement.

Karnov Group AB has cancelled 8,418,201 of its own ordinary shares that were previously repurchased under mandates from extraordinary general meetings held earlier this year, following shareholder approval at the annual general meeting on 7 May 2026. After the cancellation, Karnov holds 2,228,967 of its own shares, corresponding to approximately 2.06 per cent of the total shares and 1.88 per cent of the votes, a move that slightly reduces share count and may enhance capital efficiency and earnings per share for remaining investors.

The adjusted holding consists of 2,003,065 ordinary shares with one vote each and 225,902 series C shares carrying one-tenth of a vote, reflecting a continued use of share buybacks and cancellations in the company’s capital management strategy. This transaction under Swedish financial regulations reinforces Karnov’s active balance-sheet optimization and signals ongoing engagement with shareholders over capital structure and value distribution.

The most recent analyst rating on (SE:KAR) stock is a Buy with a SEK115.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Karnov Group AB stock, see the SE:KAR Stock Forecast page.
