Jupiter Fund Management plc has announced its succession plans, with Alex Savvides set to take over the £1.6bn Jupiter UK Special Situations Fund on 7 October 2024 after Ben Whitmore’s tenure. Savvides, alongside new team members Stephanie Geary and Siddharth Sukumar, aims to continue his impressive track record from JO Hambro Capital Management. Furthermore, Jupiter has assured a smooth transition for its funds, including the £790m Jupiter Global Value Unit Trust and the £1.4bn Jupiter UK Income Fund, which has shown strong performance under new managers Adrian Gosden and Chris Morrison.
