Judges Scientific has expanded its portfolio in the scientific instrument sector by acquiring Magsputter Limited, which owns Teer Coatings Limited, a specialist in manufacturing coating instruments and providing services to high-requirement industries. With a cash consideration of £12.3 million, the deal is expected to immediately enhance earnings, funded through existing bank facilities. Teer Coatings is recognized for its leading position in PVD magnetron sputtering, catering to sectors such as aerospace and medicine.
