JSW Cement Limited has commissioned a new greenfield integrated cement plant in Nagaur, Rajasthan, marking its first production unit in North India. The facility has a cement grinding capacity of 2.5 million tonnes per annum and a clinkerisation capacity of 3.3 million tonnes per annum, underscoring the company’s intent to tap into northern construction demand.
With this commissioning, JSW Cement’s total grinding capacity rises to 24.1 million tonnes per annum, while total clinker manufacturing capacity, including its joint venture JSW Cement FZC, reaches 9.74 million tonnes per annum. The expanded capacity enhances JSW Cement’s operational scale and supply capabilities, potentially improving its market share and logistics efficiency in India’s increasingly competitive cement sector.
