JBS S.A. Faces Major International Arbitration Claim

JBS S.A. is currently embroiled in an arbitration procedure with multiple international investors, including prominent pension funds and investment companies, over allegations of unlawful and fraudulent acts which allegedly caused significant financial losses. The investors are seeking over R$756 million in compensation. JBS’s legal team has deemed the claim as baseless, asserting a low risk of loss, and legal proceedings have been temporarily suspended.
