Japan Exchange Group ( (JP:8697) ) has provided an update.

Japan Exchange Group revised its full-year earnings outlook for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026, projecting a 12.5% rise in operating revenue to ¥198 billion and a roughly 21% increase in net income attributable to owners of the parent to ¥78.5 billion. The upgrade is driven by stronger-than-expected market activity, including higher assumed daily stock trading value of ¥7.5 trillion and increased volumes in key derivatives, underscoring the positive impact of robust trading conditions on the group’s core exchange and clearing businesses.

Reflecting the higher profit forecast and its policy to return at least 60% of earnings to shareholders while maintaining prudent reserves, JPX also lifted its annual dividend forecast from ¥50.00 to ¥61.00 per share. The higher payout signals confidence in earnings momentum and balances shareholder returns with the need to preserve financial soundness and risk buffer as a clearing organization and to fund future investments to strengthen market competitiveness.

The most recent analyst rating on (JP:8697) stock is a Buy with a Yen2218.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Japan Exchange Group stock, see the JP:8697 Stock Forecast page.
