Japan Display Inc. has partnered with Obsidian Sensors, Inc. to produce high-resolution thermal imaging sensors using innovative microbolometer technology. This collaboration aims to meet the growing demand for advanced thermal imaging in sectors such as security and defense, with product launches expected by 2026. The sensors will be manufactured at JDI’s Ishikawa factory, leveraging both companies’ technological expertise.
