ReNu Energy Limited ( (AU:JNS) ) just unveiled an update.
Janus Electric Holdings has secured a $2.75 million research and development finance facility for its subsidiary Janus Energy from Rockford RDF, using part of the proceeds to repay an existing $1.053 million loan. The arrangement gives the company about $1.7 million in additional working capital ahead of its FY25 R&D tax refund, with the new facility to be repaid from the FY26 incentive.
The funding provides timely, non-dilutive capital to advance Janus Electric’s zero-emission transport and battery electric conversion technologies without issuing new equity. Directors say the facility is an efficient and cost-effective way to support its technology development and commercialisation roadmap, bolstering near-term liquidity and helping sustain its push to electrify heavy freight transport in Australia.
