The latest update is out from ReNu Energy Limited ( (AU:JNS) ).
Janus Electric Holdings Limited has secured firm commitments to raise A$4.5 million via a private placement of 26.45 million new shares at A$0.17 each, a discount to recent trading and VWAP levels but supported by institutional and high-net-worth investors across Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong and Singapore. The new capital, raised in a single tranche under existing placement capacity, will fund battery supply activation, inventory for trucks and conversion kits, international certification of its Charge & Change stations, expanded sales capability in key markets, and broader working capital and systems improvements to support scaling its zero-emission heavy transport strategy.
The placement also includes planned shareholder approvals for related-party participation and options to the lead manager, with additional share-based fees to advisory partners, and settlement and trading of the new shares scheduled for mid-May 2026. Management highlighted that bids exceeded the company’s placement capacity, underscoring strong investor confidence in Janus Electric’s growth trajectory as it progresses customer deployments and consolidates its position in the emerging market for electrified heavy transport solutions.
