The latest update is out from ReNu Energy Limited ( (AU:JNS) ).
Janus Electric Holdings Limited has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Simon Fitzgerald as General Manager Production and Engineering and Michael Cummings as Senior Adviser to the Board. The moves are designed to bolster the company’s technical execution in electric commercial vehicles and deepen its strategic, governance and capital allocation capabilities as it scales.
Fitzgerald brings extensive experience in deploying electric buses at scale, including leading the development of Australian-designed electric buses at Custom Denning, and his appointment is expected to support Janus Electric’s push beyond heavy freight into buses and broader fleet electrification. Cummings adds more than three decades of board and executive experience across energy, infrastructure and transport, and will advise on strategy and corporate initiatives as Janus rolls out its fleet electrification model and associated battery and network infrastructure in new markets.
Together, the appointments are intended to position Janus Electric to accelerate commercial deployment, expand into adjacent transport segments and reinforce governance as it executes its growth strategy. This enhanced leadership bench is likely to improve the company’s ability to deliver large-scale electrification projects and could strengthen its competitive position in the rapidly evolving zero-emission transport sector.
