James Halstead PLC, a global commercial flooring manufacturer, forecasts a record profit before tax for the year ended 30 June 2024, surpassing previous year’s figures and market expectations. Despite facing operational challenges such as shipping disruptions and increased stock holding, the company has benefited from higher sales, particularly in the Middle East and the Americas, and lower raw material costs.
