Jadestone Energy Inc has announced the acquisition of a 100% interest in the SFA Cluster PSC, a production sharing contract for oil fields offshore Peninsular Malaysia, effective from July 1, 2024. The fields, which were previously producing 5,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day, hold an estimated 15 million barrels of contingent resources. The company plans to leverage its successful 2023 drilling experience to potentially increase production and is currently preparing for further development and abandonment plans.
