Iwatani Corporation reported consolidated net sales of ¥908.5 billion for the year ended March 31, 2026, up 2.9% year on year, while operating profit fell 17.1% to ¥38.3 billion and ordinary profit declined 10.2% to ¥55.2 billion. Profit attributable to owners of parent, however, rose 17.8% to ¥47.7 billion, supported by higher equity in earnings of affiliates and improved comprehensive income, and the company strengthened its financial position with total assets rising to ¥899.8 billion and the capital adequacy ratio improving to 48.6%.

The company maintained its annual dividend at ¥47 per share and forecasts fiscal 2027 net sales of ¥960 billion and a 27.4% rebound in operating profit to ¥48.8 billion, even as it projects a modest 4.5% decline in profit attributable to owners of parent. Ongoing changes in the scope of consolidation and accounting policies, together with stable cash flows from operating activities, indicate continued portfolio adjustment and balance sheet reinforcement, with implications for shareholder returns and the company’s capacity to invest in future growth.
