Iveco Group has announced a leadership transition at its Powertrain Business Unit, with long-time executive Sylvain Blaise set to leave on 29 June 2026 after 24 years at the company to become CEO of Manitou Group. Blaise has overseen FPT since Iveco Group’s spin-off in 2022, steering the powertrain business through sector challenges and establishing it as a key contributor to the Group’s technological innovation, efficiency, and resilience.
Effective 30 June 2026, Simone Curti will succeed Blaise as President of the Powertrain Business Unit, joining the Senior Leadership Team and reporting directly to CEO Olof Persson. Curti, who started at the company in 2004 and currently leads commercial operations for the Truck Business Unit in EMEA, is expected to leverage his cross-functional engineering, quality, industrial, and commercial experience to accelerate the development and market positioning of Iveco Group’s powertrain operations.
