Ivanhoe Mines recently announced a tragic fatality at its Kamoa-Kakula Copper Complex in the DRC following an underground accident. The company has temporarily halted mining activities at the site to investigate the incident and is working closely with authorities to improve safety measures. While operations have resumed after securing the incident area, Ivanhoe Mines has expressed its condolences to the family and colleagues of the deceased worker.
