Ivanhoe Electric Forms Mining Alliance with BHP

Ivanhoe Electric Inc. (IE) has released an update.

Ivanhoe Electric Inc. has partnered with mining giant BHP to fast-track the search for copper and other vital minerals across six areas in the Southwest U.S. BHP will inject $15 million into the project over three years, while Ivanhoe Electric will contribute its advanced Typhoon™ geophysical survey technology. The collaboration is structured as a 50/50 joint venture operated by Ivanhoe Electric during the exploration stage.
