ITV plc has reported the purchase of 593,752 of its own ordinary shares on 20 August 2024, as part of its share buyback programme announced earlier in March. The shares, bought at prices ranging from 79.35 pence to 79.90 pence, will be held in treasury, affecting the total voting rights which now stand at 3,948,461,467. Overall, since the share buyback programme began, ITV has repurchased over 112 million shares.
