Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS) has endorsed the arrangement for Nuvei Corp to be acquired by Neon Maple Purchaser Inc., advising shareholders to vote in favor of the US$34.00 per share cash acquisition before the June 14, 2024 deadline. The board of Nuvei, along with a special independent committee, unanimously recommends approval of the deal, citing a significant premium and potential risks if the deal falls through. Shareholders are set to decide in a virtual meeting scheduled for June 18, 2024.
