Ionic Technologies Boosts Rare Earth Recycling with UK Grants

Ionic Rare Earths Limited (AU:IXR) has released an update.

Ionic Rare Earths Limited subsidiary Ionic Technologies has been awarded two UK government grants totalling £1.265 million to enhance the recycling of rare earth elements for permanent magnets, partnering with Less Common Metals and Vacuumschmelze. This effort is part of the UK’s push to develop sustainable rare earth supply chains, with Ionic Technologies producing high purity magnet rare earth oxides from recycled materials at their Belfast Demonstration Plant. The company is poised as a global leader in recycling NdFeB magnets into separated magnet rare earth oxides, contributing to a more sustainable and sovereign rare earth supply.
