Iondrive’s large-scale bench trials have successfully demonstrated that their Deep Eutectic Solvent (DES) battery recycling technology is scalable, achieves high metal recovery rates, and sustains minimal solvent losses, ensuring economic viability. The technology, verified by Independent Metallurgical Operations, offers an eco-friendly alternative to traditional high-temperature and acid-leaching battery recycling methods. This milestone paves the way for Iondrive to proceed with optimized plant cost estimations and pilot plant studies, aiming for regional processing of critical battery materials.
