Iondrive Limited has initiated a Concept Study with Wood, a renowned global engineering firm, to design a 10,000 tpa black mass processing plant, essential for the company’s battery recycling technology commercialization. The study aims to refine Iondrive’s deep-eutectic solvent (DES) process, quantifying project economics, and furthering the development of a scalable commercial plant, keeping its PFS on schedule for completion by October 2024. Wood’s vast experience in black mass processing and sustainable solutions bolsters this partnership, promising advancements in resource management and efficiency.
