An announcement from Invinity Energy Systems ( (GB:IES) ) is now available.

Invinity Energy Systems has completed delivery of a 20.7 MWh vanadium flow battery to the Copwood VFB Energy Hub in East Sussex, where it will be paired with a 3 MWp solar array to form Europe’s largest vanadium flow battery once operational. The installation, with capacity comparable to the daily electricity use of about 3,000 homes, is expected to connect to the Great Britain grid and begin generating revenue later this year, subject to final approval from the local network operator.

The Copwood project is positioned as a flagship demonstration of long-duration energy storage’s role in enhancing energy security and enabling greater use of low-cost domestic renewables in the UK. Management and public stakeholders highlight that the battery, manufactured in Scotland, showcases how vanadium flow technology can reduce reliance on imported fossil fuels, lower system costs and support skilled industrial jobs, potentially paving the way for similar projects under forthcoming national schemes for long-duration storage.

The most recent analyst rating on (GB:IES) stock is a Buy with a £40.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Invinity Energy Systems stock, see the GB:IES Stock Forecast page.
