Invinity Energy Systems ( (GB:IES) ) has provided an announcement.
Invinity Energy Systems has strengthened its U.S. commercial push by appointing industry veteran Shane McBee as Vice President of Business Development, adding three decades of energy storage, chemical and engineering experience to its global business development team. Based in Atlanta, McBee will focus on accelerating Invinity’s U.S. and global sales efforts, building on recent traction that includes a 12 MWh order from Pacific Northwest National Labs, and the commissioning of vanadium flow battery projects at Viejas Resort and Casino and for EDF Renewables’ Powerflex in Southern California. The company remains on track to open a U.S. manufacturing facility this year to complement its existing service base in California, a move intended to meet domestic content rules tied to enhanced Investment Tax Credits and to capture Production Tax Credits, while ensuring compliance with Foreign Entity of Concern rules. This combination of senior commercial hire, growing U.S. project pipeline and local manufacturing is intended to enhance project economics for customers, improve bankability for long-duration storage projects, and solidify Invinity’s position in one of the world’s largest and fastest‑growing energy storage markets.
