Intrum Justitia AB ( (SE:INTRUM) ) just unveiled an update.

Intrum Justitia’s first quarter of 2026 marked the launch of its new strategy, with overall financial performance in line with plans as cost reductions ran ahead of schedule while servicing income lagged slightly, both influenced by foreign exchange effects. Despite a year-on-year decline in total income, EBIT rose sharply, the servicing leverage ratio was broadly stable at 5.8x, and full-year guidance was maintained, supported by the consolidation of Savoy Group and expectations of further deleveraging from a potential portfolio sale and a fully guaranteed SEK 7.5 billion capital raise.

The company’s net result remained negative, with a loss per share of SEK -2.75, reflecting ongoing restructuring and balance sheet pressures even as adjusted EBIT improved 37% versus the prior year. Management expects the announced capital increase and continued portfolio actions to accelerate the Intrum 2030 strategy by strengthening the balance sheet, reducing leverage, and improving execution capacity, which could enhance its competitive position in the European credit management market over time.

The most recent analyst rating on (SE:INTRUM) stock is a Hold with a SEK54.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Intrum Justitia AB stock, see the SE:INTRUM Stock Forecast page.
