Intrepid Potash, Inc. announced the resignation of its CEO and Director, Bob Jornayvaz, following his extended medical leave due to a non-work-related accident. The separation agreement stipulates a payment of over $2 million to Jornayvaz for past services and certain benefits, with the termination of various agreements and a standstill period until the end of 2025. Matthew Preston will continue as the acting principal executive officer while the search for a new CEO is ongoing. The company highlighted Jornayvaz’s significant contributions and wished him well in his recovery.
