Intrepid Metals Corp. has completed the acquisition of the Viewsite patented mining claims immediately south/southwest of its Ringo Copper-Gold Zone at the Corral Copper Property in Arizona, adding 348 acres and increasing its total land position to about 10,346 acres. The US$475,000, all-cash deal from arm’s-length private owners, with no equity or finder’s fees, secures highly prospective ground that exhibits geological, geophysical, and structural similarities to the adjoining Ringo Zone, including porphyry, CRD, and skarn-style mineralization indicators and historical drilling with anomalous copper, gold, and silver, thereby strengthening Intrepid’s exploration pipeline and potential resource base at Corral. Concurrently, the company announced a leadership transition, with President and COO Ken Brophy stepping down from his executive role after leading the consolidation and operational streamlining of the Corral project since 2022; he will remain involved as a member of Intrepid’s Advisory Board, helping to preserve continuity as the company advances exploration on its expanded land package.
