Interra Resources Ltd. ( (SG:5GI) ) has shared an announcement.
Interra Resources’ Thai subsidiary, Interra Renewable Energy (Thailand), has formed a joint operating company with Thailand-based Frontier Construction to pursue solar photovoltaic projects in the country. The new entity, Frontier Interra Solar Energy, is 49% owned by Interra and 51% by Frontier, and is capitalised at THB 4 million to support development, construction and operation of solar power plants and related EV charging infrastructure.
The partners have signed a charter and joint operating agreement that define Frontier Interra Solar Energy as an agent, rather than a profit centre, to execute solar investments and operations on behalf of both parties under a jointly controlled governance structure. The move is classified as a non-discloseable transaction under SGX rules and is not expected to materially affect Interra’s 2026 earnings, but it advances the group’s stated strategy of building a renewable energy foothold in Thailand’s solar farm industry and broadening its business mix beyond oil and gas.
