International Graphite Limited ( (AU:IG6) ) has shared an announcement.
International Graphite reported that it is on track to establish two manufacturing facilities by 2027 with a combined capacity of more than 15,000 tonnes per year of finished graphite products, reinforcing its strategy to become a leading supplier of value-added graphite. The company’s production approach emphasizes industrial graphite processing as a capital-efficient route to early cash flow, using proven technologies and partnerships to serve industrial customers seeking diversified supply.
During the quarter, International Graphite signed a memorandum of understanding with Alkeemia to develop a graphite processing hub at Porto Marghera in Italy and advanced purification testwork that exceeded benchmark standards for high-purity expandable and micronised graphite, including from its Springdale feedstock. It also progressed studies for its expandable graphite project, moved Collie micronising facility designs and permits forward, ordered key equipment, and strengthened governance with the appointment of Aidan Nania to the board, collectively advancing its global graphite growth strategy.
