International Flavors & Fragrances Inc. has announced the appointment of Margarita Paláu-Hernández to its board of directors, effective June 3, 2024. Bringing a wealth of experience, including her role as CEO of Hernández Ventures and her nomination as a U.S. Representative to the United Nations, Paláu-Hernández will serve on the Audit and Human Capital & Compensation Committees. This move follows the Company’s agreement with the Icahn Group to nominate a mutually acceptable replacement director, filling the vacancy left by Barry Bruno. Paláu-Hernández’s appointment is part of a strategic enhancement to the board’s expertise, without any disclosed conflicts of interest or material transactions involving the Company.
