Innergex Renewable Energy (TSE:INE) has released an update.
Innergex Renewable Energy has successfully launched the San Andrés battery energy storage facility in Chile, which is set to generate annual revenues between US$6 million and US$8 million. This facility, which is their second largest, will enhance grid support during peak hours and optimize returns by storing excess solar energy during the day and releasing it during high demand periods. The project stands out for its strategic use of the Atacama Desert’s high solar potential and represents a significant stride in Innergex’s commitment to renewable energy and battery storage solutions.
