ING Groep Advances Share Buyback Program

ING GROEP (GB:0RIC) has released an update.

ING Groep has made significant progress on its €2.5 billion share buyback program, repurchasing 3,625,795 shares in the first week of September 2024 at an average price of €16.24, amounting to €58.9 million. To date, the company has bought back 131 million shares for €2.09 billion, completing over 83% of the planned program. This initiative is aimed at reducing ING’s share capital and providing value to shareholders.
